Balayage at Ciel Japanese Hair Studio is built on the foil work owner-stylist Aki refined during three years in Australia. A soft, hand-painted gradient from root to tip grows out beautifully with a less obvious regrowth line, so you can stretch the time between appointments. Designed around Bangkok’s strong UV and water, with low-damage bleach and colour planned right through to the fade-out. Consultations in Japanese, English and Thai. Because the regrowth line stays soft, balayage lasts longer than a full colour — a touch-up every 3–4 months is typical, depending on hair and brightness.
Brighter designs use bleach, but Ciel selects products and designs the service to keep damage to a minimum. Pairing with a TOKIO treatment is recommended.

Asian hair lifts through orange before it reaches beige, and Bangkok sun pushes lifted hair warm again within weeks. Ciel paints with low-damage lightener, controlled to the exact level each section needs, then tones in a formula that fades to a soft brown rather than orange. Olaplex during and TOKIO after are recommended for every balayage.
