Frequently Asked Questions

What is a good Japanese hair salon near Phrom Phong, Bangkok?

Ciel Japanese Hair Studio by Aki is on the 2nd floor of the Ariston Hotel on Sukhumvit Soi 24, just a few minutes' walk from BTS Phrom Phong. It is highly rated (5.0 online) and run by Aki, a Japanese-Thai stylist trained in Japan, Australia and Dubai. Japanese, English and Thai are all spoken.

Does the stylist speak English?

Yes. Owner-stylist Aki is a native Japanese speaker (Japanese-Thai) and handles everything from consultation to styling in Japanese. Our other stylists are Thai, but every one of them works in the Japanese style, trained in Aki’s techniques and know-how. On top of that, Ciel uses its own original counselling app — built specifically for hair salons, not a generic translation app — so even the subtle nuances of the look you want come across clearly. English and Thai are spoken too, so you can relax even if you’re unsure about the language.

What is Ciel Japanese Hair Studio known for?

High-tone color and bleach work with minimal damage, precision Japanese haircuts, and detailed one-on-one consultations. Treatments and head spa services are also popular.

How do I book an appointment?

Ciel Japanese Hair Studio is appointment-only. You can book online, Instagram DM, or phone (+66 92 692 3578). Opening hours are 10:00–19:00, closed on Wednesdays (and the 1st & 3rd Tuesday).

How much does a haircut cost at Ciel?

At Ciel Japanese Hair Studio, haircuts are ฿1,200, hair color starts from ฿2,490, TOKIO premium treatments from ฿1,990, and touch-up color from ฿2,500. Final prices vary by length and condition — see the up-to-date menu on the official online booking page.
